Born to Thrive in these Times:
An Evening with Singer Songwriter Trina Brunk
“Trina Brunk’s music has an ethereal power.”
- Marianne Williamson
Trina Brunk, Sat. April 20, 7-8:30pm, $20
As a singer-songwriter, Trina delivers powerful and inspiring lyrics through soaring, stirring vocals and gentle piano soundscapes and soulful guitar. Her Christian upbringing set in the rural Midwest provided an unlikely setting for her mystical awakening and remembrance of ancient wisdom teachings that closely parallel those of Indigenous Earth-based spirituality. Her lifework is a love song that builds bridges across this perceptual divide, singing the awareness that we are all One and that what we do to each other we do to ourselves; that the way to deal with an enemy is to love them; and that loving our Infinite Source and Creator with our whole Being is the most important thing beyond all of our individual perceptions and judgments.
Trina Brunk has been performing across the nation since 2010, with a highlight including opening for spiritual luminary Marianne Williamson. She has released eleven self-produced albums, her latest being the 2018 release, Sky. In 2012, her collaboration “Running Free” with film composer Charlie Armour was nominated for the Indie Music Channel Best Female Soundtrack award.
