Music & Storytime at New Renaissance!

David Wood & Jessiemarie Duplessis

Join David and Jessiemarie of New Renaissance for a weekday storytime featuring some of our favorite children’s books that capture the magic and meaning of life! David will also bring his guitar and/or ukulele for some fun sing-a-longs between stories, and Jessie will end with a brief mindfulness exercise that all ages are welcome to try.

 

This event is open to all ages. Children must be accompanied by their parent or guardian.  

 

David is a lifelong lover of books and stories. Some of his favorite memories are of his dad reading classics to him such as The Hobbit and The Little Prince at a young age. He is also a dad, musician, writer, astrologer, and meditation facilitator.  

 

Jessiemarie has a Master’s Degree in Library Science and loves books more than chocolate! She is the oldest child of a single mother who has taught high school and college level poetry courses.
