Meet Lama Phurbu Tashi Rinpoche, recognized at the age of thirteen as the reincarnation of Tsatsa Khenpo Thubten by Bo Gangkar Monastery in the Kham region of Tibet.  Whether you’re a newcomer or an experienced meditator seeking additional exposure to the subtleties unique to the Tibetan tradition, this class will serve as a brief prelude to the path of spiritual awareness unmistakably realized through the deeply-layered practices of wisdom, compassion, peace, and freedom taught by the Buddha and aspired to by all.  

 

Lama Phurbu Tashi Rinpoche is the founder and spiritual teacher of the Gampopa Center.  He studied at many different monasteries in Tibet and India with many great spiritual teachers. His book The Lamp of Scriptures and Reasoning, was praised and recommended by both H.H. the 14th Dalai Lama and H.H. the 17th Karmapa. He is also the author of Ancient Wisdom for Modern Society, and Mind & Meditation.
