Meditative Marimba

Justin Persichetti, Sat. June 8, 11:30-1pm, $20

Join us for a meditative percussion experience. Justin will play the marimba, wind chimes, singing bowls, bells, and frames drums to create an atmosphere of peace and tranquility. Tuning into sound allows you to get to a very powerful place of meditation. Lose sense of your body and thoughts and let the resonant wood instruments and other sounds flow through you.

 

Please bring your own mats, blankets, and pillows to ensure that you have as comfortable of an experience as possible. Some mats will be provided.

 

Justin Persichetti is a classically trained percussionist who has explored and taken a deep interest into meditative percussion playing. He loves bringing people into his sound world and hopes to help others find a sense of peace and bliss in the moment.  soundcloud.com/19justinmusic93
