Event Cancelled! Sound Bath with Paola Suculima: An Experience of Deep Remembering

Join sound facilitator Paola Suculima for a sacred sound ceremony workshop weaving breath, ancient instruments, and songs of the Inca, Mexican and Tibetan traditions. Each human being has a unique primordial sacred sound, and a variety of ancient traditions have techniques to attune us to this resonance for personal healing and transformation. Paola will lead the group in a simple, accessible sound healing exercise of vocal toning. We will also experience: the calling of our ancestor’s voices; the five sacred syllable sounds of the warrior; the four elements in the body; and the voice of the Earth in a relaxing sound bath for the senses and energy bodies. Bring comfy clothes, a yoga mat, blanket and your voice and heart! Please note: this is a collective experience so no one participant will be put on the spot or expected to sing alone. 

 

Paola Suculima is a Mexican American singer songwriter and sound vessel for medicine songs. She has studied with shamans from the Wixarika huichol, Brazilian and Peruvian lineages and Cree Nation peoples, and she is a student of Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche from the Tibetan Dzogchen Buddhist culture
