Join author Renee Linnell as she draws from her latest book The Burn Zone, an exploration of  how we give away our power to others when we feel alone, lost, seeking, or doubtful of our self-worth—and a guide for how we can ultimately emerge from intense trauma stronger than ever. Part inspirational story, part cautionary tale, this is a memoir for spiritual seekers and those who feel lost in a world that makes them feel like they don’t belong. Participants will learn to spot the red flags that signal dangerous  self-empowerment groups, charismatic leaders, or even toxic friends/partners/lovers; how to embrace the value in being different and the fact that “your difference is your destiny;” how to love your whole self (contradictions, flaws and all); and how to find a profound connection with the Divine and true bliss.  

 

Renee Linnell is a cult survivor who is also a serial entrepreneur who has founded/cofounded five companies and has an Executive Masters in Business Administration from New York University. Currently, she is working on starting a publishing company to give people from diverse walks of life an opportunity to tell their stories. She divides her time between Colorado and Southern California.
