Transcendence: A Powerful Account of Out of Body Travel and Near-Death Experience

Traveling outside of one's body can be exhilarating, and frightening. The portal can open through intensive meditative studying or spontaneously. For Joseph Britton, this first happened upon his fourth birthday. His out of body experiences happened frequently as a child. In 1979, while on a spiritual pilgrimage in the Himalaya Mountains, he contracted amoebic dysentery. Upon being carried to a temple guest house in northern India, he was declared medically dead. While in this state he explored wondrous parts of the Cosmos. Upon returning to his body, subtle and clear sensory awareness opened-up for him. He will share this extraordinary out of body journey, and other experiences of transcendence.  Joseph Britton has been an Instructor of Mindfulness, Yoga and Meditation at Princeton University, Professor at a Japanese University, and Adjunct Instructor at Portland Community College.
