It was late one night during the mid-seventies when I came across a radio program called "Other Worlds In Music." What I heard that night was unlike anything I had experienced before. Flowing synthesizers, celestial voices and an abundance of exotic instruments from around the world. That night awakened a new dimension in my musical awareness. The likes of Tangerine Dream, Popol Vuh, Between, Deuter, Omega, Ash Ra Temple and Klaus Schulze are a few that I remember hearing in the weeks that followed. A new musical journey had begun. In the late seventies I started working at Intergalactic Trading Company here in Portland. It was the import/export division of Music Millennium. There I was exposed to numerous musical styles that have made an everlasting impression on me. Over twenty-five years have passed since that fateful evening and the journey continues...
